- 8 cups Chicken Broth
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Celery, chopped
- 1 cup Carrots, diced
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 12 oz Egg Noodles
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions, carrots, celery, and minced garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add chicken breast pieces and cook for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove chicken, shred it, then stir in egg noodles and boil for 8-10 minutes until tender.
- Return shredded chicken to the pot, season with salt, black pepper, and parsley, then simmer for a few more minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
